What is your current role at your institution? Conference Coordinator, College of Agricultural Sciences, Penn State University. We work with faculty members and industry to deliver conferences and short courses.
-
How long have you been a NACRO member? I joined NACRO in June of 2019, as I registered for the NACRO Corporate Relations Bootcamp in Pittsburgh.
-
What do you enjoy most about your NACRO membership? I joined for the professional development and NACRO membership resources; also to learn more about Corporate Relations as a career path. I have industry and higher ed experience, and it seems like a natural fit. The members and leaders of NACRO are excellent. Adam Causgrove convinced me to volunteer on a committee and get involved!
-
What has been your greatest challenge during the COVID-19 crisis? Other than the abrupt notice, our move to remote work went smoothly. Our biggest challenge is delivery—moving classroom style instruction to online content where possible, and rescheduling other programs to a “safe” time. Everyone is committed to a high level of service for our constituents!
-
What is something (a fun fact) that not many people know about you? I have my NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) wilderness first aid certification and a Spotted Lanternfly training permit!
