Q&A with Lauren Bradley, Associate Director of Corporate Engagement, The Jackson Laboratory

  1. What is your current role at your institution/company? I am the Associate Director of Corporate Engagement at The Jackson Laboratory, a nonprofit biomedical research institute. 

  2. How long have you been a NACRO member? Just about 6 months.

  3. What do you enjoy most about your NACRO membership? I really loved the annual conference this past year. I was so impressed with the level of content. From the speakers to the networking opportunities, I felt like I got my membership's worth just in those couple of days.

  4. So far, what has been your greatest Corporate Relations success? One of my favorite things I've worked on is creating an annual "Capstone Leaders Forum" where we brought together our top corporate and foundation partners, policy makers, subject matter experts and academia to have cross-sector conversations about various trends and challenges. What has been your greatest challenge? One of the things I always find challenging is to ensure that I'm able to provide sustained value to partners, especially those that have been around a long time. 

  5. What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know? I once ran a 10k race in North Korea!
