What is your current role at your institution/company? For the past almost six years I have served as the Director of Corporate Engagement at Washington State University.
- How long have you been a NACRO member?
My first NACRO conference was in 2015 and I have been a member ever since. I was initially drawn to NACRO because of the content being offered, which was much different and more relevant than what I was seeing at other corporate relations conferences.
-
What do you enjoy most about your NACRO membership? The people I meet! My fellow NACRO members are often having similar experiences as I am and I’ve loved learning with them and from them.
-
So far, what has been your greatest Corporate Relations success? What has been your greatest challenge? My greatest success to date is being a part of the interdisciplinary team that worked to secure a $20M gift in support of engineering facilities. My greatest challenge, which I’m sure is something a lot of us have experienced, is getting internal buy-in on the holistic corporate engagement model.

What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know? I live in the Pacific Northwest and love camping and spending as much time as I can outdoors.
